I am glad you got to go to Miette and Paulette. I blogged about both a few months back - such a great corner in Hayes Valley.

Paulette's macarons are wonderful, aren't they? Oh, and I love anything involving caramel at Miette - especially their handmade bergamotte caramels. They also offer some incredible caramel panna cotta pots at their Ferry Bldg. outpost, which I stock up on whenever I am there.

I'm looking forward to your next Bay Area installment. Can't wait!
